Church App
A ready-to-brand mobile app any church can get. Sermons, ministries, events, map, and contact in one place. One Flutter codebase, iOS and Android, no dev team required on your end.
The Problem
Most churches are invisible on the internet
It's 2026. People use their phones to find restaurants, doctors, and schools. But when they look for a church, they hit a wall. Outdated websites, dead Facebook pages, or nothing at all. Service times, sermons, how to get there: scattered or just missing.
A first-time visitor who can't find the address won't show up. A member who missed the event because nobody told them pulls back a little. That happens enough times and the church stops growing. Not because it isn't worth attending, but because it's invisible.
The Solution
Your name, your colors, your content. My code.
This is a template product built in Flutter: one codebase that ships to both iOS and Android. Your church provides the name, logo, colors, and content. I handle the store submissions, the backend, and the push notifications. You get a branded app without building a dev team.
Members get everything in one place: the Sunday sermon, what's happening next week, how to get there, and who to call. Church leaders update content from a dashboard. No code, no tickets, no waiting on anyone.
Features
Five screens. No filler.
The first screen sets the tone
The home is designed so that someone opening the app on a Saturday night immediately knows what's happening tomorrow: service time, latest sermon, upcoming event. No digging. A new visitor shouldn't have to figure out where to look.
- Next service time front and center
- Latest sermon: title, pastor, duration
- Daily scripture with reflection link
- Upcoming events with push reminders
People don't join churches. They join communities.
Youth, Children, Women, Men, Music, Evangelism. Each ministry gets a photo and a short description. A visitor who browses this screen before their first Sunday already understands the church better than someone who's been attending for months and never asked.
- Visual grid with real ministry photos
- Each card links to a detail page
- No guessing what the church is about
- Visible before, during, and after the first visit
WhatsApp groups are not a calendar.
Every church runs events. Almost nobody hears about them until it's too late. The activities screen shows what's coming with location and time, and members set reminders: 7 days out, 3 days, the morning of. That notification does more than any flyer ever did.
- Full event list with location and description
- Per-event push notification reminders
- Reminder options: 7 days, 3 days, 1 day, 2 hours
- Kills the paper flyer and the group chat mess
The first visit is the hardest one to get
A first-timer who can't figure out where the building is won't show up. The map screen includes direct open-in-Google-Maps and open-in-Apple-Maps buttons because an address alone isn't enough. People need the route. This screen is worth more than any social media post.
- Address and service schedule always visible
- One tap opens the route in Google or Apple Maps
- Removes the last excuse not to visit
- Works on any device, any carrier
One tap, not five steps
Email, phone, physical address. Each one does something when you tap it. No copying, no switching apps, no searching. Someone who wants to volunteer at 11pm on a Sunday can reach out right then. That moment matters.
- Email button opens compose directly
- Phone button dials immediately
- Address is readable, not a link to nowhere
- No friction between intention and action
Tech Stack
Flutter because one codebase is all I need
